  Thank you so much to the staff of Allambe memorial park. We had the unexpected death of a very close friend of ours, we sent her on her final journey on Saturday. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions we made the very fitting decision to hold her service outside.
  Wow!! the service was lovely, we could hear the water stream in the background, the sun was shining down on us and we were able to invite 30 people to attend. I don't understand why more services aren't held outdoors! The sound system was great and everyone could hear very clearly. Gaylene and her team at Allambe did a marvelous job and we will be forever grateful for their outdoor service.

  UPDATE 18 NOV 2021: bumping to 5. It's been consistently well-maintained for a decent amount of time now.
  
  UPDATE 29 Jan 2020: I've added a star, as the plot now has some turf laid on it. Hopefully things will continue to improve and I'll re-visit this review.
  
  UPDATE 2 Apr 2020: The plot looks much better now, with the new turf having taken hold. I'd added an updated picture.
  
  UPDATE 20 Oct 2020: Big improvement. Another star.
  
  ORIGINAL REVIEW:
  I suggest to anyone considering using this cemetery - owned by InvoCare Australia - that they walk through the Garden of Memories (a nice position but well out of site at the southern perimeter) to get an idea of what a grave will probably look like once the area is full - and consequently of no further financial benefit to the business.
  
  A grave from early October 2019 should have grass on it instead of loosely dumped sand, and should not have holes in it and be surrounded by weeds. After two recent visits I’ve made two complaints, one by phone and one via their web complaints form, which have not resulted in any response or action.
  
  For those who wish to visit the grave of a loved one, there’s an expectation that it will be respectfully maintained. Very disappointing.

  The disorganisation, lack of communication, and unhelpful attitude of the staff make an already devastating time that much more difficult. This is unfortunately not the first bad experience with this funeral home, who also conveniently lost a dear friends valuable engagement ring at the time of her passing, which was never recovered nor compensated. Money is all that these people care about, once they have urs don't expect any further assistance, and dont bother making certain personalised requests. And be prepared for them to change their minds after agreements have been reached. They should be ashamed of themselves.
